I was a traveler for 3 months at El Camino Hospital and became staff thereafter to the present. We care for all, but given our patient population we have a large focus on caring for patients with sepsis, stroke and myocardial infarctions.

I was a traveler for 9 months at LGCH.

I was a traveler at the level 2 trauma hospital RMC for 3 months and worked per diem for an additional 9 months.

I was a traveler at this level 2 trauma hospital for 3 months.

• Triaged and treated high-volume caseload in busy emergency room setting.
• Administered critical IV medications to stabilize patients for assessment and treatment.
• Coordinated care with physicians and other clinical staff to prepare for treatment, carry out interventions and enhance continuum of care.
• Stabilized patients, determined health needs and provided direct patient care.

Roy Lester Schneider was a 14 bed ED for a local population of approximately 50,000 people and countless tourists. Treatment included, but not limited to:

Being my 1st job out of school at a Level 2 Trauma and Chest Pain certified hospital, I was put through a 3 month ED/ CCU training course. I was also certified in TNCC and ENPC at this time. Once training was completed I began caring for patients solo, which included, but not limited to:

• Monitored and recorded patient condition, vital signs, recovery progress and medication side effects.
• Conducted patient assessments and diagnostic tests to provide physician with important patient health information.
• Treated patients by administering various types of medications and therapies.
• Answered patient questions and provided take-home materials for further information.
• Upheld patient safety standards by preventing unauthorized access or incorrect dosage administration.
