  • Work directly with National Grid to provide communication services at locations such as Watertown Service Center and multiple substations across Upstate, NY. Provide engineering assistance to substation interconnect capital projects such as NTIA.
  • Design and Engineer construction packages for new fiber optic network builds into customer locations and point to point dark fiber builds. Update records accordingly.
  • Ensure all necessary permitting and licensing is acquired for new builds.
  • Oversee and inspect construction operations to ensure Telcordia and NESC construction standards are met on all outside and inside plant.
  • Drive projects to completion by coordinating with team members, project stakeholders, and external entities. Document processes along the life of the project, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work with ISP's and other telecom organizations to provide full circuit path to customers.
  • Provide internal telecom monitoring services and assistance to other divisions such as IT, SCADA, and water/sewer.
