Work History

Physics Master's Thesis Candidate

University Of Copenhagen
2021.09 - 2022.09
  • Master’s Thesis: An exploration of polyamorphic systems including an investigation into the possibility of polyamorphic mesostructures previously uncategorized within a single drug with two polymorphs as reference systems.
  • Explored drug poly-amorphization methods, conducting tests across spectroscopy, enthalpy, diffraction, and more in supervisor and colleague labs. Analyzed data led to a Master's thesis, encapsulating all insights.
  • Collaborated on a 24-hour Powder X-Ray Diffraction study at DESY Synchrotron, significantly contributing to Hydrochlorothiazide sample analysis.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.

Jr. Electrical Engineer

4S Silversword Software and Services, LLC
2019.10 - 2020.07
  • Developed a laser communication prototype for military use, enhancing drone-to-drone communication through infrared lasers with a lighter, optimized optical design for secure transmissions
  • Contributed to circuit adjustments and testing
  • Also conceptualized a solar oven for waste processing in limited-infrastructure villages, completing designs and simulations
  • Led a proposal for a holography project to improve drone communication devices for the U.S
  • Navy, collaborating with NIST scientists.
  • Mitigated risks associated with high-voltage equipment operation through strict compliance with established safety protocols during maintenance activities.
  • Expedited project timelines by effectively managing workload priorities, allocating resources efficiently, and anticipating potential roadblocks ahead of time.

Host/Waiter/Bartender/Caterer

Various Restaurants, Theatres, and Arenas
2016.06 - 2019.07
  • Led bartending at high-pressure events, including galas for elite donors to the city's ballet, orchestral, and theater programs, as well as at weddings and conferences, demonstrating the ability to perform under pressure
  • Managing and organizing customer placement in high-volume restaurants, ensuring smooth operations and optimal dining experiences.
  • Handled high-pressure situations with composure, effectively managing large parties or unexpected events during busy shifts.
  • Answered customer questions about hours, seating, and menu information.

Personal Information

Title: Applied Physicist

Hobbies

  • For over two years, I've been foraging for mushrooms, berries, and herbs for cooking in Denmark, using my finds to craft delicious, experimental meals from scratch, including homemade pasta, without ever compromising safety.
  • A decade of intermittent training in MMA/Muay Thai and weightlifting, driven by a love for friendly competition.
  • I've explored dance through salsa and bachata at charitable events in Denmark, introduced by a PhD colleague.
  • Alongside a friend from my US university days, now living in Berlin, surfing for the first time in Albufeira, Portugal, in summer 2023, —a hobby I'm keen to pursue more in the future.
  • In high school, my team of four competed in a Northrop Grumman contest, designing a boat with limited sheet metal. Placing top 8 among 50 teams from three states, we received the Best Design Journal award.
