I am a motivated master’s student in biomedical science with a passion for learning. I have always been fascinated with learning about why certain diseases affect individuals differently. Through my growing experiences in research, I am committed to improving my analytical and critical thinking skills. I want to deepen my understanding of conditions such as hypertension and preeclampsia to contribute to advancing knowledge in biomedical science.

• Genetic analysis on how mutations in two genes relieve defects in a novel fungal microtubule-stabilizing protein.
• Generated mutations in the novel fungal protein, WDA.
• Analyzed suppressor mutations through linkage analysis genetics.
• Determined the dominance and recessive nature of WDA suppressor mutations.
• Studied the epistatic relationship between mutations in two of the WDA suppressor genes.
• Determined the dominant and Recessive nature of WDA suppressor mutations and linkage analysis.
