Network Diagnostics is a team within suite of HCL network teams servicing State Farm Insurance that:

• Handle escalations from 1st and 2nd line network support teams where network traces are needed as well as packet analysis to assist in troubleshooting suspected network and applications issues.
• Use tools such as NetScout Infinistream packet engines, Wireshark, Broadcom Netflow Analyzer and Arista hardware in my everyday work for a variety of diagnostics purposes.
• Owns these tools which means I update them, keep them maintained, secured and mange the relationship with the tool's vendor

Worked within State Farm command center where I:

• Did everyday network monitoring and troubleshooting across a variety of network technologies
• Troubleshoot small office LAN such as agencies to much larger hubs and data centers
• Used Cisco CLI to troubleshoot possible faulty network routers and switches
• Worked with technicians over phone at sites to get to the root of problems within office infrastructure
• Spot checked bandwidth and network traffic surges
• Loadbalancing
• Network packet tracing and analysis
