Summary
The objective is to further assist those in active use, helping people that are on MOUD build recovery capital to gain independence and freedom from substance use disorder. Since starting with Voices of Hope, I have learned that there are many pathways to recovery. I’ve learned that everyone is different and may need to be educated about other pathways of recovery. I am looking to assist coaches by helping them be in the best position to aid others in their recovery. For the past few months as an LRC, I have had the opportunity to work with recovery coaches and it's a good time to advance learned skills and further growth within the organization.

- Since becoming a Recovery Coach, I have had an opportunity to work at 5 different placements working with over 130 participants to educate them on different pathways and build recovery capital to sustain recovery
- Currently, my position is as a “LEAD”, meaning I facilitate MOUD training and complete site visits to ensure the best possible outcome for coaches in their placements
- I have worked with 40-plus coaches to prep for the MOUD flyer so that they can convey the information to others
- Also, I have been given the opportunity to go onsite with over 20 coaches that have been needing assistance at their agency to help them build rapport and have the right tools to succeed at their placement.
