I am an aspiring fashion designer who is well-equipped with the necessary skills for any role in the fashion industry. I have years of experience in the retail industry and fashion production. I hope to one day launch my own fashion brand by constantly acquiring more knowledge within the fashion industry by learning from those before and after me.
With my degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising at UH Manoa, I've learned how to professionally conceptualize fashion designs and be able to utilize merchandising skills to market them. I've also researched and studied textiles, fashion forecasting, and computer-aided design.
Currently, I am working for a locally owned, Hawaii-based wholesaler. With this position, I have the opportunity to work with production and hired cut-and-sew contractors and sample makers firsthand. My current responsibilities include Fashion Designing, Technical Designing, Marker Making, and Social Media Management.
