Summary

From the time I was in high school, God was planting a seed in my heart that would grow into a passion for missions. After having the opportunity to help at two refugee camps in Texas, I felt a desire to do more work like that. As I explored different colleges and majors, God patiently directed my every step. He led me to FBBC in Ankeny where I got my education in Missions and Church Ministry. Even though the pandemic closed doors for my internship, God was sovereignly working in ways I didn't expect to open the door to Germany. My internship there gave me a glimpse into the every day lives of missionaries, and since then God has continued to fan the flame of my passion for ministry through many different ministry opportunities, sermons, and, of course, His Word. As I grow in Christ I strive to approach each day and unique challenges with enthusiasm, patience and humor, and always rely on God's direction for the next step in my life.
