- Run ops across 4 production buildings. 2,000+ tickets closed — hardware failures, fiber faults, deployment support.
- Maintain DWDM backbone: Infinera GX G42, Ciena 6500. When the backbone has issues, I find them and fix them.
- Replace failed components: NICs, PSUs, optics, motherboards. Validate POST, OS boot, network connectivity. Move on to the next one.
- Fiber troubleshooting with OTDR, VFL, power meters. Find the break, fix the break, document where the break was so we don't have to find it again.
- Validate network installs: Cisco, Juniper, Arista. Check link integrity, confirm it's ready for production, hand it off.
- Write up deployments, test results, what broke and how I fixed it. Other techs use my docs now.
- On-site support during turn-ups and live maintenance. Keep disruption minimal, keep the site running.
- Trained 50+ techs on SOPs and troubleshooting. Some of them are better than me now.
