My responsibilities were to load the van with tote bags and packages, deliver packages in a timely and safe manner
,return van to station after filling van with gas.
and finally load out van of tote bags or returns.
All the same requirements as in your typical delivery jobs. I load my own vehicle and then go deliver all the packages often over very long distances.
handled preparing, packaging and labeling auto parts (often weighing over 50 pounds) and moving orders to where they need to be. I have to cooperate with other team members to make sure we work efficiently/safely and by the end get a quality finished product. In the job I have to stand for most of the day but thankfully I am not strained by having to stand for long hours and also do not have an issue with repetitive heavy lifting. I make an effort to keep my work area uncluttered, safe and organized.
I was in charge of loading/unloading trucks with furniture and other items/packages which often weighed a hundred pounds or so. When we finish loading the truck me and a partner would deliver the packages sometimes going out of state. After completing all stops we go back to the warehouse to unload any returned packages or furniture, this job is usually a 14-hour day and often a few hours more but it is nothing I couldn't handle and just a side note, I was paid by the day.
