• Led the successful conversion project of manufacturing assembly lines from outdated Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software to the cutting-edge JDAAT platform. This initiative involved a comprehensive overhaul, including upgrading fixtures to integrate PLCs, I/O boxes, and I/O link communication. Implemented new vision systems with advanced cameras and presence sensors to enhance quality assurance checks throughout the assembly process. Through meticulous planning and execution, achieved seamless integration of the new software and hardware components, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations while significantly enhancing efficiency and quality control standards.
• Successfully configured new Microtorque tools and Mitutoyo digital calipers with MES systems, resolving communication challenges. Leveraged Ignition to develop a dynamic webpage tracking various tools and fixtures in storage, offering real-time location updates. Streamlined tool management processes, enhancing efficiency and inventory control within the manufacturing environment
• Senior Design: Basketball Shot Tracker and analytics: Successfully built, assembled and programmed a functioning object-detecting device. This design used Bluetooth communication for information sharing the BLE Beacon, and an application on a user’s mobile device. Cost analysis was performed on components, codes, and regulations. In return, the application (for both IOS and Android) displayed real-time basketball players' in-game statistics.
