Abel Smith

I've worked as an independent director for years, developing many short films throughout my High school career. I've worked as a babysitter for many years, done yardwork for many clients, and a completely self taught computer repairman, having fixed over 10 computers on my own, and personally built 3 from scratch.

Im an international baccalaureate currently attending Eagle Rock high, played band for 2 years, skipping strait from beginning to advanced ensembles, and have played a variety of instruments such as the alto Saxophone, tenor saxophone, guitar, and now currently the baritone saxophone. I've been editing / directing / producing my own short films for years, and Ive worked with computers as well, both windows and apple products, for most of the last 5 years, fixing well over 10 on the side for clients and built 3 from scratch completely on my own. I've hosted an anti AI protest in hollywood targeting IMAX for playing an AI film festival in one of their theaters and garnered near a quarter millions views on social media. Me and a friend who's on LAUSD's student council board applied and won a YCC clean air grant, giving us access to one-thousand dollars to invest into a clean air project that benefits the community. We chose to create and develop a wide scale survey on prolonged exposure to CO2 emissions over the legal limit in most classrooms, which critically reduces students ability to work and think normally.
