This project seamlessly integrates front-end technologies like HTML and CSS with back-end functionality achieved through Java Servlets. The core feature of this system is user validation, implemented by securely connecting to a database.

Key Achievements and Responsibilities:

• Front-end Development: Designed and implemented an intuitive user interface using HTML and CSS to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Back-end Integration: Developed server-side functionality using Java Servlets to handle user authentication. Implemented secure protocols to manage user sessions and maintain data integrity.
• Database Connectivity: Established a connection to a relational database to store and manage user credentials. Employed SQL queries to perform authentication checks and securely store sensitive information.
• User Validation: Implemented a robust user validation system to authenticate user credentials during login, ensuring a secure and reliable access control mechanism.

We built a software application that extracts characters from the license plate images. The proposed system aims to take care of vehicle information for various purposes, thereby reducing the possibilities of threats. Several image processing techniques like Morphological transformation, Gaussian smoothing, Gaussian thresholding and Sober edge detection are used for the detection and recognition of the vehicle's license.
