Individual with hands-on experience in the courtroom, with knowledge of the procedures and order. Known for reliability and adaptability in meeting dynamic team needs. Exhibits strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills.
From August 2021 to March 2025, I was a member of Warren County's Juvenile Youth Court program, where I participated in real low-level delinquent cases. As a prosecutor I worked on behalf of the state, delivering appropriate sanctions as fit towards different respondents while gaining skills in the courtroom. As defense counsel, I worked with respondents to share their best qualities to the jury, while delivering appropriate, fair sanctions towards the matter. As a juror, I deliberated on recommendations from the two counsels among my peers to produce fair and fit sanctions towards these low-level cases, keeping in mind the juvenile at hand. Overall I gained knowledge on the procedures that occur in the courtroom, and on the duties of being an attorney, learning different skills and methods on behalf of legal attorneys who guided me through my tasks. Throughout the four years, I grew in not only my public speaking and knowledge but also my desire to one day become like the attorneys I had the chance to receive guidance from.
In the fall of 2025, I have committed to attend the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. There I plan to double major in English and Political Sciences, intending to attain a minor in Communications and/or Journalism. Alongside this, I have committed to join the school's Track and Field team. After college, I will apply to Law School, along with joining the Air Force to ultimately become a Judge Advocate General, where eventually I will go into the juvenile court system and become a juvenile defense attorney.
