  • Collaborate with Indiana Department of Health Epidemiologists and other subject matter experts in the creation of infection control guidelines for sites serving PEH.

  • Utilize public health surveillance systems in order to provide targeted community level disease trend updates, county risk assessments, and evidence based recommendations on a revolving basis.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff members of homeless service agencies, Federally Qualified Health Centers and County Health Departments to promote increased access to healthcare services for PEH.
  • Conduct in-person community outreach with homeless service agencies of various program types to gather data on recent agency disease cases and current infection response plans.

  • Oversee the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other infection prevention supplies to homeless service agencies, local health departments, and other community stakeholders across the state.
