I enjoy cooking for family and friends and I am currently completing the culinary program at Wichita East with expected completion by May 2028. During my free time, I'm an avid reader and enjoy spending time with family and friends at our family cabin at 99 Springs lake, Medicine Lodge, KS.
I've been a member of girl scouts since kindergarten. Through girl scouts, I've participated in several events including The Festival of Giving, volunteered in nursing homes, and raised money through product sales. Our troop raised enough money to travel to Savannah, Georgia, the birthplace of girl scouts, where I learned not only about the history of the organization, but also the deep roots in community service and service to our country.
My bronze award was based on raising awareness and countering the effects of dementia and Alzheimer's. We focused our efforts on raising money to purchase games and resources for the residents of Comfort Care homes in Wichita, KS. My silver award was for an anti-bullying campaign. We focused on making posters with inspirational quotes that showcased the act of anti-bullying. We hung them around Robinson Middle School and met with the head of Student Council to help provide support within the school. We received endorsement from teachers as well.
