Volunteer Experience
- PRINCE OF PEACE FOOD PANTRY, Responsible for serving the local community on a weekly basis food items that were collected through donations. My role included making sure each individual had the necessary items that were expected to be provided to them such as non-perishable goods, breads, veggies, cereal, and many more items. I was able to serve over 100 hours for this specific volunteering center and learned a lot about my community and how to serve the ones in need.
- COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS (WOMEN AND CHILDREN), This volunteering experience allowed me to work with the specific population of homeless women and children in this center. My roles were to ensure that they were supplied with the necessary hygienic products and that they were aware of the schedules for the day. I was able to also speak to the children and see them on a daily basis while working there.
- THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB, Was able to provide hands on assistance with the youth within the program and provide them with support during their time here. Helped the youth with any guidance and tutoring needs as well as ensure their at home life is being acknowledged and supported when needed.
