  • Beginning in August of 2025, I applied for an EMT-B position at Hope-Jackson Fire Department, and began working shortly after. I successfully completed all training and observation requirements, and as an EMT-B, my duties consist of operating the emergency vehicles, assisting the advanced life-support providers, and providing patient care independently. I am also responsible for cleaning, organizing supplies, being aware of all equipment and its place + function. My responsibilities also include moving patients, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories, as well as administering medications and oxygen.
