Summary
I was born in India 2002, moved to the U.S in 2004, and for the majority of my life I've lived in Georgia. School wasn't much of a struggle for me, but finding something to be genuinely interested in was. I was always somewhat directionless and struggled to find what I would pursue as a career. Eventually when it came time to make a decision about my future in college, I remembered something from my childhood. Growing up, my mother would always talk to me about her work as a nurse in the medical field and how she would help others in a day to day basis. These talks with her took roots in my mind and pushed me to pursue a interest in the medical field with the intention of helping people. I believe both of the jobs I've had prior have definitely helped to fulfill my partial desire of helping people in one way or another. My desire as I continue my education is to keep gaining experiences and to fulfill not only my wishes and dreams but those of my parents as well.

- I primarily functioned as the two positions I have mentioned above, but I was often asked to do various jobs that were not specifically in the realm of Customer Service and Floor Supervisor; other jobs that I had to do in my time there were merchandising, working at fuel stations, and assisting management with any tasks they needed taken care of.
- I was very flexible at Kroger, often doing several tasks at once and having to manage my time well in order to leave things in the proper manner by the end of my shift
- I also had the responsibilities of being a leader for my co-workers and making sure everything was running smoothly for the day; at times I had to mediate any issues between co-workers or an problems that arose with customers and my co-workers. I would call myself almost a handyman capable of fixing situations and solving problems very well.

- Although the name might suggest differently, I was not limited to making sandwiches in my time at Subway
- To go into a little more detail, I would have to take out trash, mop and sweep, wash the dishes, clean the tables, power off ovens or other electronics in the store, and eventually count the money from the cash register
- Maintained a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
- Increased speed of service through effective multitasking and time management skills.
- Prioritized excellent communication skills to understand customer preferences accurately while minimizing errors in orders.
- Trained some of my co-workers into understanding the position more clearly and how to work in tandem with myself or others during a shift.
- In dire situations when someone would call out and it was just me in the store, I could handle the pressure and was capable of holding down the store for an extended period of time until further support arrived.
