My name is Abner Mejia. I've been playing the piano since I was 9. I started off by taking private lessons and learned how to read music and play chords. I started off by playing classical music; for example, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and more. I then went on and started learning christian music so I could play for my church. After 3 years of learning, I performed for the first time at my church. My parents eventually became pastors and I became the main pianist at my church. As of now, I am the worship leader of my church's band and I also play for the Hispanic churches state worship team.
