I worked hands on with team members in receiving donated goods such as: shoes, clothing, home goods and canned foods that were of need or use to individuals and families of the general public. Our team were responsible for processing all goods before they were to go through the next quality assurance stages and then preparing all goods to be cleared for consumers or gifted receivers. It was highly necessary to work accurately and thoroughly in a fast paced environment. My duties also included conducting inventory of donated merchandise and prepared total damaged merchandise for proper disposal. I led team members in operational efficiency initiatives, enhancing workflow processes and productivity; streamlined communication channels between departments, improving project coordination and information flow.
