Recruiting and Retention NCO is responsible for three tenets of Strength Maintenance: recruiting, attrition management, and retention. Specific missions include recruiting non-prior service and prior service applicants by developing and maintaining daily work plans to prospect for, conduct interviews with, determine the eligibility of; prepare packets, and work through MEPs to enlist Soldiers into the NH Army National Guard.
Generate public awareness of the Army National Guard by area canvassing and participation at school and community events. Additionally, assigned either as training cadre at the Recruit Training Company or as a retention NCO for one or multiple units of the NH Army National Guard.
Advises the Commander on and conducts and supports unit Strength Maintenance and Retention Program.
Conducted thorough candidate evaluations to ensure a consistent level of quality in newly acquired candidates. Maintain relationships and communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience, ensuring possible referrals and or word-of-mouth referrals.
