Adam Escue

I am a senior at South Gibson County High School, and I am 18 years old. I am a great communicator. I am extroverted, but I like to think things through before I speak or act. I am a positive leader who likes to fix problems rather than let them sit idly. I like to be ahead of challenges which face me. I am dependable and like to be knowledgeable about my craft. I bring a good attitude to anything I try.

• I have been selected for student leadership in my school’s marching band for two years. I was a co-drum major before, and this year I am the head drum major. I take charge when needed and I am a right-hand man to my band director. Some of my responsibilities include giving orders, helping band members when their specific section leaders are absent, making all band members feel welcome and valued, and delegating tasks to the entire leadership team as we organize plans for the day and even larger events.
• Additionally, I have been the first-chair trombonist for all of high school so far. My duty is to be the representative of good behavior, attentiveness, effort, and attitude for my section.

I have a 4.0 GPA, a superscore composite of 35 on the ACT, and I have taken all Honors, AP, and CLEP courses possible with my schedule.
