
Adam Preston is an Informatics Application Advisor within the Global Health Division at RTI International. He has more than 20 years of experience in information and communication technologies (ICT) consulting, software engineering, and international development work on projects in the Philippines, Ethiopia, Guinea, Tanzania, Jordan, and the West Bank. Mr. Preston is a listed member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Digital Health Technical Advisory Group Roster of Experts and actively participates in other workgroups, such as OpenHIE, Digital Solutions for Malaria Elimination, and the Community Health Toolkit User Group. His career focus has been on leading software development projects in disease surveillance through the software development life cycle to completion using agile methodologies. He holds an Master’s in Business Administration from University of Saint Thomas.
