Hello, my name is Adam Standiferd. I am a New Mexico native with ambitions move up in the construction world. I was raised in and around construction. I began my career in Construction when I was 17 years of age in Espanola, NM with a company out of Albuquerque, NM as a labor. I quickly moved up from general labor to pipe layer in the matter of a year. I was a pipe layer for a additional year before becoming the head pipe layer which made me responsible for the elevations, install, and backfill of waterline, SAS, storm drain pipes and fittings of sizes ranging from 3"-12" of all material types. I became efficient in elevations from this position. After several years of this position I moved up to heavy equipment operator. I was responsible for operating excavators, loaders, rollers, dozers, water trucks, forklifts of many sizes and models. After that I then moved up to Field Foremsn which I was responsible for all on site duties including managing the crew and quality control. I oversaw projects ranging from fire hydrants to sewer treatment plants.
I did receive training as a superintendent while I was still working as a Field Foreman which afterwards I moved up to Assistant Superintendent and then Superintendent. I was under these positions for a year and a half.
I am a very self motivated proactive worker that is attentive to detail. I do not like to do anything twice. I will also always acknowledge mistakes and use what I learned to improve my work and I am always eager to learn new methods and new techniques.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I wish you well.
