• Promoted in 2013 to Sergeant and assigned to the West Side Regional Command Center Patrol Division
• Supervised an average of 20 to 30 officers in patrol and field operations
• In 2014, reassigned to the West Side Night Tac Unit
• Provided guidance and training to tac officers in investigations to include, obtaining confessions, securing search warrants, and field surveillance
• Then transferred to the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center Patrol Division/Baker Shift
• Temporarily promoted to Lieutenant of Evening Shift for Pebble Hills for a couple months
• In 2018, reassigned to the Criminalistics Section as an Investigations Sergeant for the Criminalistics Section
• Currently supervising the Crime Scene Investigators, the Major Callout Team and the Latent Team.

• Hired as a police officer for the City of El Paso in 2001 and upon completing the Academy, assigned to the Pebble Hills Patrol Substation in patrol operations
• After a year, recruited for the Undercover School Narcotics Operation.

• Conducted regular patrols of facility to detect and deter security threats.
• Recorded incident reports with detailed accounts of occurrences.
• Monitored alarm systems to enable prompt attention and response.
• Closely monitored alarm systems, responding promptly to alerts and coordinating appropriate action when necessary.
• Also acted as deterrent for thefts at mention business. (Theft of Service , Movie Recordings, property thefts, burglary and theft of vehicles)

• Reassigned to the El Paso Police Department Pebble Hills Patrol Division
• Then selected to complete the Field Training Program and continued with patrol operations
• As an officer, provided guidance and teachings to novice officers, in addition, was selected to partake in the union of an PHRCC Adhoc unit from 2006-2008 to target auto thefts, burglary of vehicles, and robberies
• Highlight of the assignment was being recognized by the Chief’s office for the units success in making a substantial amount of on-view arrest and for the identification of major crime rings
• Trained in obtaining confessions, securing search warrants, and conducting field surveillance
• Assigned as an OIC for the Adhoc unit and was temporarily promoted to Sergeant for PHRCC evening shift before challenging the Sergeant Promotional Test.

• Served in an undercover capacity in a local High School posing as a student to identify any narcotics trafficking
• Also assisted the El Paso Police Narcotics Division in narcotics interdiction within the City of El Paso
• Once the narcotics deliveries were made, assignment entailed identifying “targets” through investigative means and court testimony for numerous cases.
