Addie Brooks

Hi! My name is Adeline- but I go by Addie- and I use she/her pronouns. I have been born and raised here in Chicago and am very familiar with getting around the city. I most recently graduated from Amundsen High School this past May. I honestly don't have much work experience besides animal and baby sitting, but I have a lot of volunteer history. I am looking for a part (or full) time job for the season before I start at community college in the fall.

Experience Global Leadership Adventures

In the summer of my Junior year of high school, I participated in a service trip to rural Costa Rica.  We stayed in a small town away from tourist locations, and worked with the local schools.  At the schools, we worked in the garden, painted classrooms, and worked with the kids on creating sentences in English.

Volunteer History 

I have been volunteering with a program called Community Feast at the United Church of Rogers Park since I was younger with my family.  We help serve meals to the people who come in and help clean up.  Moreover, I have also experience working with Chicago Food Depository many times where I have participated in an arrangement of jobs there, like packing food or labeling boxes.  Additionally, I have a passion for animals and over the summer I plan to start volunteering with Paws.
