Girl Scout Silver award
In middle school, my Girl Scout Troop and I worked with a local dentist's office. Our goal was to make something that could not only help bees but also allow the dentist's office to attract more customers by having freshly pollinated flowers. We not only made a sustainable bee home with a small garden but also found local beekeepers who really helped us with the reasearch, and we were allowed to take a couple of their "bee hives." We took them as a gift and a thank-you for their help; we sanded and repainted them.
