Teaches journalism and creative writing classes to approximately 38 students each semester. Conducts classes in the Graduate, Online, and Professional Studies Program, as well as the in-person Undergraduate Degree Program. Consistently receives excellent evaluations from students.
Writes essays, opinion pieces, and feature stories, including centerpiece and cover stories, for the Sunday Magazine, Travel, and regional sections.
Wrote monthly features, including six cover stories, about prominent figures in the arts and sciences. Regional magazine was distributed to 40K homes in the western suburbs of Boston.
Wrote scripts for the radio comedy show, 11 Central Ave., that aired for three years in major Public Radio markets. Co-wrote scripts that won the Gracie Award from the American Women in Radio and Television.
Taught reading, writing, and conversation classes to international student studying in the U.S. Created lessons and activities to supplement textbooks used in ten-level curriculum.
Taught English literature to high school and middle school students. Attended professional development training throughout Europe.
Taught literature, writing, and conversation to Japanese students majoring in English. Co-authored the pilot edition of the reading textbook.
Acquired, edited, and sold nonfiction and fiction manuscripts to major NY publishing houses. Promoted select literary and commercial authors represented by the agency.
Acquired and edited contemporary fiction and nonfiction books for paperback publication. Collaborated with senior editor to create movie tie-in editions for our book-to-film projects.
