Adheesh Rajaragupathi

Served meals to senior residents in a retirement center by taking orders, delivering food, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintained the cleanliness of dining and service areas while providing friendly and attentive customer service.

At this camp, I built leadership skills, Hindu values, and community spirit. I was involved in physical training sessions in yoga and martial arts, as well as intellectual sessions and team-building.

I participated in this program for 2 summers, where I explored engineering concepts through hands-on design challenges and collaborative problem-solving. I applied the engineering design process to build and test creative solutions, including a Lego robotic arm, while working alongside experienced instructors and Boston University engineering student mentors.

This program focused on startup development, business strategy, and innovation. I collaborated on a team-based startup project, worked with industry mentors, and developed skills in leadership, pitching, networking, and professional communication.

I learned lab techniques, explored synthetic biology concepts, and worked in teams to create my own biodesign project that I presented to families and staff.
