Leading the FXM (Fulfillment Exception Management) team under the Promise organization at Amazon, managing 8 SDEs. Our team is responsible for detecting exceptions and implementing corrective actions for fulfillment defects in orders. FXM primarily focuses on Missed Promises, Just In Stock Repromises, and handling Cold Pricklies during the holiday season.

Additionally, I lead the Out Of Stock Promise (OOSP) team of 6 SDEs, responsible for vending Promises (Delivery Dates) for items not currently in stock (not physically present in our warehouses). The team owns the customer experience for Out Of Stock Items, predicting whether to sell items Out Of Stock, determining optimal quantity limits, and offering appropriate delivery promises to customers. All predictions are powered by ML models.

Leading the engineering charter focused on Technical Excellence, Execution Excellence, and Operational Excellence. Key responsibilities include Strategy and Roadmap Creation, Engineering Excellence, Stakeholder Management and Collaboration, and Employee Engagement and Development.

Razorpay is a Y combinator backed Series F, top Indian fintech startup. I manage the entire cards eco-system (Credit Card, Debit Card, Card EMI) at Razorpay where we do than 1.5 Million+ daily transactions.

Manage more than 20+ engineers and managers spread across 3 teams: -

1) Core Cards - Manage all card (Credit, Debit, EMI) related flows partnering with issuers, acquirers, networks, gateways.

2) Native OTP - In-house solution to enhance success with respect to OTP involved in authentication.

3) Rearch - API decomposition of Razorpay monolith to micro-services.

Key responsibilities include driving the POD OKR and Roadmap in collaboration with a product leader. Project execution, tech and operational excellence, system design and architecture, stakeholder and performance management, 1 on 1s, employee engagement, motivation and IDP, talent acquisition are part of my day to day responsibilities.

Have led and managed couple of org level initiatives as well like IPL, DDOS Simulation.

Make My Trip is India's largest and leading travel, ticketing portal.

Managed 3 teams (Rails, Metro, Rail Info Services) of 15+ engineers, building applications for Indian Rail Ticket booking, Metro booking and Rail Information Services at MMT. Focused on OKR and Roadmap creation, project execution, tech and operational excellence, employee engagement and IDP , stakeholder and performance management, talent acquisition.

1) Rail - Scaled the funnel from 700 daily booking to 14k bookings (Android, IOS, mWeb, Desktop) with more than 1 Million DAU. Grew the engineering team from 4 to 10+ engineers.
2) Metro - Built a team and funnel from scratch for Hyderabad Metro Rail System.Scaled the funnel to 5k daily bookings.
3) Rail Info Services - Built a pod from ground up providing rail related information, serving more than 500k customers a day.

Built a cloud based application which seamlessly enabled simultaneous multi-user editing, data gathering, audit, persistence, review and approval of a multi-section comprehensive booklet (prospectus).
Designed and developed the backend system.

Involved in developing and designing key modules of Departure Control System (DCS). DCS was a Java Swing application which handled all the user/passenger operations. Actively managed all team related activities like sprint planning and ensuring active coordination between cross functional units.

Was majorly involved in developing a Mapping software on Cloud, Eclipse Plugin and Java Swing. The software facilitated communication and interaction between two independent organizations. Handled migration for Content Store Catalogue, from ECM (file based backend) to RDBMS (Sybase).

Worked on various other modules such as Import/Export, Download All, and Mapping Validation. Handled various development features for mapping as a software engineer.

Worked on development of application for a couple of leading US multinationals. Developed and supported features like a scorecard, project management tool.
