I was a Crew Member, a Crew Head, and a Set Designer for my high school's drama department. This required me to design the Sets for 2 shows, leading the crew in constructing the Sets for 4 shows, and participating in their construction for 8 shows. I've built up leadership skills in this position, I've become well-equipped for working with tools, and I've also gained plenty of experience in manual labor - unloading and storing heavy pieces of lumber, repairing broken set pieces, etc.

I also take a Karate class, and am currently studying to become a black belt. The class has taught me both patience and perseverance in its challenging exercise routine and demanding testing sessions.

Plus, for fun, I take lessons in both guitar and piano - the guitar, I've been playing for about 6 years, and the piano, I've been learning how to play for the past few months. Like my Karate class, these lessons have been key in developing and maintaining my ability to be patient and to show grit in times of difficulty.
