As a toy instructor and home visitor, my purpose is to teach families how to make educational toys from recyclable materials to create parent-child bonds. In class I teach them different concepts that help child development. I encourage parents to play with their children at least 15 minutes a day. As a home visitor, I meet with the mother individually to assess and discuss the needs of their families. I also observe and monitor the progress of everything learned in class.
