I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Fresno, California, and my roots in the community run deep as I continue to live in the peaceful town of Malaga. Currently, I am honored to serve as a dedicated member of the school board for the Fowler Unified School District, where my passion for education finds its purpose. In addition to my role on the board, I am engaged in an enriching internship at Malaga Elementary School, where I work closely with students who require extra assistance, especially those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). My commitment to helping these students succeed has been a constant thread in my career. In 2021, I took on the role of a Child Care Provider Leader with Fresno Unified School District, a position established by Parent University to support schools in their efforts to transition back to in-person learning after the challenges posed by the pandemic. In this role, I served as a valuable aid in the classroom, supporting teachers and students during this critical period. Despite the financial constraints that limited our contract duration, I am grateful for the opportunity I had to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and educators alike. My experiences have fueled my determination to continue making a difference in the lives of students, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need to thrive academically.
