• VOLUNTEER - Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory, NC. Summer 2018 - Summer 2022. Volunteered once weekly in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and shadowed CRNAs, having worked with many patients and doctors, thus fostering a love for patient care. Assisted nurses in transporting patients to their rooms as well as cleaning patient bay areas after each use. Provided ice chips and blankets to patients, while understanding the duties of a CRNA.
• VOLUNTEER - ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville, NC. February 2023 - April 2023. Volunteered once weekly in the Surgery Admissions Department and shadowed nurses. Assisted nurses in transporting patients to their vehicles, as well as cleaning patient bay areas after each use. Set up each bay area for incoming patients, while also understanding the duties of nurses in the surgical department.
