  • Interviewed at about 60 students throughout the school year about the school activities they were part of such as sports, clubs, extracurriculars, and many more to put their quotes and headshots into the book.
  • Would design all the pages I would be assigned to, as well as keeping everything within the page consistent, such as page length, font size, etc.
  • The book would recently win first prize at the San Diego County Fair Student Showcase for the yearbook division for selling more than 1000 copies.

  • I would assist my band director with organizing paperwork such as receipts, grades, music, etc for proper library management and made sure all the sheet music was ready to hand out for the music we played.
  • As part of this leadership position, I held the highest possible standards for all band members such as making sure I was playing my instrument correctly and always maintaining a positive attitude, teamwork and camaraderie.

  • Volunteered at a 'Meals for Wheels' Event, where I would help load coolers filled with frozen pre-prepared food into trucks for free food delivery to seniors and veterans.
  • Volunteered at the 'Day of the Child' hosted by the CVCC with giving guitar lessons to 10 children and helped cleaning the park from all the trash left over by 200 patrons.
  • Volunteered at a local church for a junior Chopin piano concert, where I helped various children on and off the stage and led them to and from their parents throughout the event.
