Paralegal seeking further experience in the legal field. Management of over 300 cases demonstrates the ability to prioritize and triage effectively. A political science education, paralegal certificate, and practical experience as a paralegal demonstrates proficiency at theory and applied areas of law.
I currently serve as a construction defect paralegal at Florin Roebig, managing a portfolio of over 300 stucco defect cases. Prior to late January 2026, I managed cases at all stages, from the time a client was accepted to the time their case settled. Since late January 2026, due to an organizational restructuring, I manage cases solely in the pre-suit phase. As a manager of all phases, My primary duties included communicating with clients and opposing counsel, drafting documents via templates, sending demand letters to opposing counsel, filing documents with both the Florida E-portal and the American Arbitration Association, and ensuring the timely movement of cases. The last task is particularly important, as the sheer volume of cases assigned to me means they could have easily stalled without careful observation.
From September 2024 to November 2024, I served as a campus organizer for the Michigan Democratic Party's 2024 Coordinated Campaign, being assigned to the University of Michigan-Dearborn. My primary responsibility was to generate support for Vice-President Harris and Governor Walz, as President and Vice President respectively, among of the student population of the University-Michigan-Dearborn. Key tasks included the recruitment of students as volunteers, the management of these volunteers, and discussing politics with students. The last task was particularly important and very diffiicult, as the Democratic party, especially Harris, was unpopular among the school's high Arab and Muslim population, due to a frequent view that the Biden presidency was complicit in what they viewed as a genocidal war by Israel on Gaza.
From January 2024 to August 2024, I served as an electronics broker for A&K Electronics, an electronics brokerage firm. The core of the job was to secure request for quotes from clients, to identify the lowest price for the requested components, and then to quote the client for those component, with the goal to secure an order. Primary tasks included identifying potential clients, establishing a relationship with those clients, securing quotes from those client, and negotiating with both clients and suppliers.
