  • Sorted through good and bad boards varying from 1x4s and 2x12s at varying lengths as the came across a chain in front of me
  • Had to keep an eye out on my machines and other machines around me to make sure wood was cycling through properly.
  • Had to communicate over radio to other machine operators and leads about any issues that were currently happening or about to happen.
  • Cleaned up my machine after every shift ensuring proper performance for the next operator.

  • Had to pay attention to teeth on band saws that were used to cut logs in half and make repairs with specific measurements.
