My position as a Float Pool Nurse Technician enables me to provide versatile support across multiple units by adapting to diverse roles, including Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), Safety Attendant, and Technician. My responsibilities include coordinating electronic communication amongst staff, managing patient transfers and paperwork, as well as delivering direct patient care. I am known for my proactive, team-oriented, and uplifting contributions, creating a supportive environment for staff while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

My experience as a Nurse Extern allowed me to work closely with, and learn immensely from, a wide assortment of nurses and health care providers. I was granted the opportunity to work alongside the House Supervisors of Oklahoma Children's Hospital, through which I gained invaluable insight into hospital-wide operations and built strong professional partnerships with unit managers and interdisciplinary teams. This role provided me with countless opportunities for professional collaboration and conversation, contributing to the development of a strong and confident professional identity. Through this professional partnership, I was able to visit every unit within Oklahoma Children's Hospital, allowing me to interact with diverse patient populations and expand my clinical knowledge.

My experience as a server taught me how to effectively manage fast-paced, high-stress situations while simultaneously remaining patient, empathetic, and attentive. Through the practice of prioritization, collaboration, and delegation, my coworkers and I were able to consistently fulfill our responsibilities and achieve customer satisfaction without compromising quality of service.
