Postpartum Precepting- Wexner Medical Center

• Completed 180 hours of hands-on clinical experience in the postpartum unit, developing strong skills in maternal and newborn care, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, supporting breastfeeding, and performing newborn assessments.
• Collaborated with nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure families felt prepared, supported, and informed throughout their hospital stay and discharge process.
• Demonstrated effective time management by prioritizing patient needs, staying organized, and maintaining accurate documentation in a busy clinical setting.

Western Sahel Student Association- Founding Vice President

- Provides a space where students of Mauritanian, Senegalese, Gambian, and Malian descent to come together and meet their academic, cultural, and social goals.

- VP role included overseeing the executive board to ensure all requirements are fulfilled as highlighted in the constitution.

Catalyst- Peer Mentor

- Meet weekly with high school students within the Mauritanian-Senegalese community in Columbus to assist them in college preparation and examine different career paths after graduation.

Jokaré Endam Volunteering- Assist in teaching English and providing health education to the Fulani community, supporting their transition to life in the U.S.
