I conducted a 3-month research project in Sankhu Village Development Committee to investigate the quality of drinking water. The purpose of the study was to identify coliform bacteria in water, indicating possible fecal contamination. of the water supply system. The amount of E.coli was reported in terms of the Most Probable Number ( MPN) Index per 100 ml of water. Based on the calculated indices, the study found around 70% of homes were considered to have non-drinkable water.
