Projects

  • My project involved creating a script to manage user accounts on a Linux server. The objective was to accommodate the recent expansion of the company by hiring 9 new employees across 3 newly established departments: Engineering, Sales, and IS. To ensure a smooth launch of these departments, the server needs to be configured with the necessary files, folders, users, groups, and permissions
  • The project involved creating a script to perform various tasks on a Linux system, such as creating groups and users, assigning unique names to them, and configuring appropriate permissions and ownership for the newly created entities. The script included the following functionalities: Group Creation, User Creation, Password Assignment, Directory Creation, Directory Permissions, and Script execution.
  • Network Configuration Project - Small Network Setup Configured a small network consisting of routers, switches, and PCs to support both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity for supported hosts. Implemented secure management practices for the router and switch to ensure network security. Successfully configured inter-VLAN routing to enable communication between different virtual LANs. Set up DHCP services to automate IP address assignment for network devices, ensuring efficient network management. Implemented Etherchannel to enhance link aggregation and provide high bandwidth availability. Configured port-security measures to prevent unauthorized access and protect the network from potential security threats.
  • Deployed a server utilizing Microsoft Server, implementing an active directory infrastructure. Successfully configured and managed user accounts and groups, ensuring appropriate permissions were assigned. Enhanced the server's functionality by setting up Active Directory, enabling centralized user management and streamlined access control. Effectively created and assigned new user accounts and groups, carefully considering their specific roles and responsibilities within the organization. Implemented proper permissions, granting appropriate access rights and privileges to users and groups.
