Throughout my life I've held a multitude of positions that have challenged me in many ways, as well as granting me the space to grow. I'm Highly-motivated individual with desire to take on new challenges. Strong worth ethic, adaptability and exceptional communication skills. Adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.
My recent position has been working on the road as special fx technician. The past five months I've worked throughout the United States, as well as a few cities in Canada. I spent one month with Parkway Drive, a metal band from Australia, where we had a total of 17 flame units consisting of g-flames, five masters, and wave flames. My next tour was held with rapper Travis Scott, where we had a variety of fx. During this tour my responsibilities evolved from beginning to end. Ultimately I was in charge of making sure all 8 of our pyro boards were pinned accurately and accordingly. As well as making sure all units were operational prior to show.
While working with Flynn I assisted with the construction of two major projects, Apple & Facebook data centers. My main focus was ensuring I produced quality work while making sure all deadlines were met. I went through countless training to ensure I was knowledgeable, and certified with all the equipment I was utilizing such has fall restraint training, boom-lift operator, & fork lift operations. Here are a few of my day to day operations.
Upon starting my position with PatRick I served as as Firefighter 2 (entry level firefighter) & over the years progressed my way up to a Firefighter 1 (squad leader). We performed routine fire suppression duties including: hand line construction, determined strategies & tactics, constructed progressive hose lays throughout the fire perimeter, maintained & repaired specialized equipment, operating chainsaws, conducting burnout/ holding operations, patrolling, & radio communications. I was consulted by other employees for knowledge of all of these tasks. While working here I gained extensive knowledge in both initial & extended attack.
My time working at 18 Bin was short, but very fruitful in the amount of experience I had taken away from the positions I held. Upon receiving my first position as a Barback I learned everything from taking inventory of beverage stocks, bussed tables and ensuring the floor room was well maintained and sanitized. Then as I stepped into my role as a host I began other duties and tasks such as working multiple events in a fast paced setting, maintaining a good relationship between our regular patrons as well as anyone new entering the bin.
