Alan Yu

I am a ambitious college athlete with the goal of getting into the cyber security field. My dad has worked as an IT director for a large optometrist corporation for many years, which has inspired me. While I study here at Rivier University I also play for its hockey team. I have always had a passion for hockey, I started playing when I was 10 years old and have never looked back. I believe this sport has taught me, not only how to skate and handle a puck, but how to be a better person. I have learned many life skills though this sport, such as discipline, effective hard work, and the importance of working with others. I am excited to bring these skills into the field of cyber security and make a real difference in the world.
