Although I am "young" in the professional kitchen environment, my past experience as a business owner, private professional practitioner, and employer and employee, I feel it has allowed me to be flexible and understanding of the working environment.

I will complete the Hawaii Community College Culinary Arts program this May, 2024 My forte is menu development, organizational skills, educational adjunct, and kitchen management
I have developed an understanding of most knife skills and different cooking techniques My experience also drawn on my past experiences in the home kitchen as well as professional kitchens
I do believe my strongest understanding is food flavors because of my experience in restaurant dining, travel and my natural curiosity of different ideas and lack of food profile preferences which have allowed to explore as many cuisines as possible
Hobbies include: Music and travel
At an early age, I wanted to become a music major. I soon understood that even though I was proficient in two of my favorite instruments, it wasn't my true passion. I like the idea but not as a profession however still enjoy listening and playing given the opportunity.
Travel was actually a side-benefit of my continuing education of my professional dental life. However, I always traveled to cities and places for the courses but carefully planned them to coincide with dining and food opportunities. It wasn't uncommon for me to end up in the kitchen by th end of our meals to meet the chef and check out the kitchen.
