Alayna Walker

Throughout my experience at AHN Wexford Hospital, I have proven myself to be both driven and adaptable in my new role. As a student, I have not only been able to learn, but also to showcase exceptional patient care and confidentiality. I have also demonstrated the ability to quickly master new technologies and workflows, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging. Teamwork, effective communication, and maintaining high patient satisfaction are the key factors I focus on in my role. Throughout my time as a student, I have been able to experience outpatient and hospital clinical settings and complete all educational competencies for general/abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound exams. I have years of experience working up close with customers and have acquired many social skills necessary in doing so. My hope in the field of sonography is to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. I am driven to give my patients the best overall experience when they are in my care. Being in this field gives me the ability for constant growth and learning, which is something that I value greatly. I am looking forward to beginning my career in ultrasound following graduation in December 2024.
