Alaynah Bishop

Working with Dr. Lewis has taught me many things. Things like: Teamwork,Organization, Strategy, and Leadership. Being that im a student athlete, teamwork is a big thing for me. However she made it so much simpler. From my experience with being her assistant, i was guided into skills i did not know i had. I now have patience with any form of work i do. Slow and steady wins the race but im also able to work as fast as possible when necessary.

In November 2024, i received an award from my cheer coach called the "Coach's Award", for varsity football cheerleading. This award symbolizes: Precision, Leadership and Attitude. Precision: being able to be on point, remembering where to be, being on time and rarely having to be corrected. Leadership: Helping others when it felt necessary, including myself when i see others struggling and being able to take control when needed. Attitude: always having a smile on my face, respectful towards my coach's, speaking when spoken to, and always cheering my team mates on.
