Direct plan, organize and coordinate FGD Operations, including outage and retrofit. I prepared budget outage packets and created time lines according to importance. As the liaison between between venders and AEP for retrofit, I signed of on all new equipment operations for start up group. Responsible for 4 shifts of operations and managing performance. Wrote Operations Manuals for Wet Scrubber's and FGD (Fluid Gas Desulfurization), Trainer, participated in group telecom's to set Mega Watt Pricing. Instrumental in the LEAN Process to cut operational costs. Developed operations procedure saving AEP $24,800 per year. Set testing of sludge by product, by reducing the amount of lime usage saving $53,600 annually resulting in in potential company savings of $3,000,000 at landfill. Developed and implemented a morning supervisors, maintenance and planners which lead to very low forced outage rate for scrubber, JBR area.

Monitor power plant equipment - detect and trouble shoot evidence of operating problems. Control power generating equipment, including boilers, generators, or reactor using control boards or semi-automatic systems. Stop or start generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, or other power plant equipment as necessary. Involved in hiring and training of new hires. Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor.

Line of Progression to Plant Operator / Control Room.

Proficient in the operation of Coal Belts and Crushers. Experienced in operation of D10, D9 Dozer's and 637 Pan. Filled in as shift supervisor when needed.
