I'm a bilingual high school student, fluent in both Spanish and English, with a passion for the electrical trade. Currently studying at Eli Whitney Technical High School in Hamden, CT, I'm set to graduate in June 2026. My journey into the electrical field began with a curiosity about how systems work, which has since evolved into a dedicated career path. I aim to become a master electrical technician capable of making meaningful contributions to the industry.
Throughout my time in trade school, I've been dedicated to learning everything I can about electrical systems, which include residential wiring, commercial wiring. I'm proud of my perfect attendance record, which reflects my commitment and reliability. I've also earned my OSHA 10-Hour Certification, which has taught me how to keep myself and others safe on the job a responsibility I take seriously.
In addition to my technical skills, I've learned the value of teamwork and communication. Whether I'm working on a group project at school or volunteering in the community, I believe that working together and supporting each other leads to the best outcomes. I also enjoy problem-solving, especially when it comes to troubleshooting electrical issues. There's something really satisfying about figuring out a complex problem and fixing it.
I've earned my 10-Hour OSHA Certification, which has provided me with essential knowledge about workplace safety. This certification is important to me because it ensures that I'm prepared to work safely and responsibly in any environment.
I've completed 10 hours of community service, which involved supporting local initiatives and helping with various community projects. This experience taught me the importance of giving back and working together to make a positive impact.
I'm an active member of the National Honor Society, where I strive for academic excellence and leadership. I also participate in SkillsUSA, a program that promotes career and technical education. Through SkillsUSA, I've had the opportunity to compete and collaborate with others who share my interests in the trade.
I'm known for being punctual and reliable, consistently showing up on time and ready to contribute. I believe that these qualities, along with my passion for the electrical trade, will serve me well as I continue to learn and grow in my career.
