I am very energetic and overtime I have developed strong communication skills, as well as skills that can help me in various environments. I have a positive attitude that allows me to be ready to learn and understand anything new that comes my way. I can adapt easily.
In this volunteer position, I was in charge of checking people in and out of an event. I had to maintain composure and deal with lines of people. I had to move very fast while ensuring the experience was positive for everyone, and the clients were satisfied during their time. I assisted the program and kept everything organized. I used my communication skills to help not only the event attenders understand what to do, but to help my fellow volunteers if they had any trouble. I took initiative.
I managed social media platforms, which boosted engagements and visually appealing content. I helped my high school club to reach out to various types of people, increasing the popularity of the club. I used strategic marketing and different trends to appeal to others, causing my club to be widely known.
I was a volunteer and event coordinator for the Sammamish Muslim Association. I created schedules for events, I was in charge of planning things timely. This allowed me to adapt quickly when I was faced with unexpected challenges or changes in plans. I volunteered in various events to ensure seamless event execution, and positive outcomes.
I was the student team manager for my volleyball team in high school. I was in charge of many things relating to making the team improve. A few examples are, I had to come up with plans with my coach on how to implement strategies in my team to better improve communication and the coherence of my team overall. I was also in charge of keeping a clean and organized environment. I made sure each piece of equipment was in its spot and ready to be used. This experience taught me how to be responsible and brainstorm, and how to work with others in a fast paced and team focused environment.
